We will keep everyone as safe as possible by observing all the Covid Regulations. Most importantly we will be maintaining routinely a 2m social distance, never less than 1m. Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users on shared paths. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe. Just in case we need them, good idea to bring a face mask.

These rides are organised by Southwark Cyclists, the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. More information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/

Due to high demand. We have decided to do an extra ride.

Dulwich to Crystal Palace. 10am to 12 noon. Start/finish Dulwich Clock Cafe, Dulwich Park, SE21 7BQ. Relatively flat route to Crystal Palace Park including good stretch of the off-road Waterlink Way, then ride up through the park (having a look at the dinosaurs on the way and walking the steep bits). Finally glorious long downhill back to Dulwich Park. Ridden this route several times, see report of our ride in the snow, Feb 2nd 2019, http://healthyrider.weebly.com/healthy-ride-reports-jan-march2019.html. Route map at https://goo.gl/rfUzwn. Bruce leading.

If you are lucky enough to get registered, and then cannot make it, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. Even at the last minute it is worth cancelling.

    • Hi, Self explanatory anyone help or point me in  right direction please.   Thanks
    • Cheques are still the safest way to send money to others if you want to make a 'thing' of it. At Christmas or birthdays a card with a cheque is the most effective present to distant god children or extended family, for instance when you don't know what they have or need - made out to the parent if you don't think they have an account yet. Of course you can use electronic transfer, often, to parents if you set it up, but that doesn't quite have the impact of a cheque in the post. So a cheque still has a use, I believe, even when you have very much reduced your cheque writing for other purposes.
    • I believe "Dulwich" is deemed where Dulwich library is situated so left at Peckham rye and straight up Barry Road
    • The solution for the cost of duvet washing is for each person to have their own single duvet like in Scandinavia.  Then you can wash the duvet in your own washing machine. Get a heated drying rack if you don’t have a tumble dryer.
