A car appears to have gone South West from Grove Hill Road over the lights and then "missed" its entry into Champion Hill only to go half way through a wall on the corner of Grove Lane. To me that's what appears to have happened - must've been going at some pelt to get the car that far through the wall. So DKH northbound closed for a while
Traffic is u-turning at the lights and coming back down grove vale -so extremely heavy all along grove vale to goose green roundabout / lordship lane and then onto ED Grove. Busses diverted along ED Grove - also busy along Calton / Townley etc as Waze adapts routes to allow for this.
As of 20 minutes ago the stretch was still closed, even with no signs of any debris or people in the road, just a car bonnet-shaped hole in a brick wall. Better open it soon or Southwark CPZ planners will claim it's a rewilding project.

Presumably it was heading north and hit the wall at an angle.

    • I want to recommend Simon and his team at Smile Moves. They moved us last week and did a fantastic job packing our entire house up, and moving all our belongings without anything breaking. They were on time, polite and went the extra mile at the other end to ensure everything was in the right rooms. A great experience during a stressful period!
    • Happy to collect at anytime that suits you!
    • Yes, presumably, in terms of using some of the space for non Post Office things, as other sub post offices do. But as a sub office I doubt that they will be able to cherry pick what Post Office services they offer. My understanding is that there are only a few things which Crown offices presently do but sub offices don't (like passports).
    • I bought mine online couple of years ago from arnold Clark. They had send me few videos and I think you have at least 1 year warranty. It was serviced by them as well for few years . When I went for service here the mechanic told me that the car is in a great shape with lots new parts and a very good buy.  It was a very strange experience as it was brought from Scotland and it was click and collect type of purchase. Never had I thought I would be buying a second hand car like that. You pay small holding fee I think I paid something like 50-100£ for transport to London and you have few locations to choose from.
