macroban
Brockers?Oh well, I don't have many 21st century years left. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2630-article-on-east-dulwich/#findComment-79900 Share on other sites
mixulee
quite a fair account of ED. I think also it's true that the clinching factor in ED's regeneration is the compactness of the High Street (as opposed to FH and also Brockley or what I know of it) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2630-article-on-east-dulwich/#findComment-79902 Share on other sites
snorky
As ex brockley, I can say that although most of the comments are fair if blinkered.Brockley may have big houses, but cos its a precious conservation area, you will always have a big trundle to the shops for basics and a very limited supply of decent pubs - a quick half in lewisham or le Croix Nouveaux doesnt compare too well to going to the less wanky places on LL.if you think the various bleating worthy types in ED get on your tits, then you really should experience the arschegeigers that act as the self imposed guardians of the Brockley conservation area.Brockley = big houses, but a nigher than average level of twats Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2630-article-on-east-dulwich/#findComment-79911 Share on other sites
mockney piers
I thought it a pretty fair article. I liked the fact that someone mentioned Springers, it almost never gets a mention on this forum. Oriwisu Spot has had more publicity of late than Springers. Nicolamb
Summed up exactly how I feel actually. Except would have been nice to hear a bit of love for the garden centre too.Brockley had changed a lot, when I went there a couple of weeks ago.
