That sounds like a good idea RD. Anyway I was going to have a sneaky glass or two of wine Friday night just to ease myself in. I don't want to get tipsy too early Saturday and miss Frankel !


Anyway - not drinking for a while is a very interesting experience. If you are a regular drinker normally, then you can get into a habit and its good to conscioulsy break that habit from time to time. The first week you feel inclined to have a drink in the evening because its what you normally do, but after a week it feels normal not to. You feel like a better citizen / father / employee / golfer......

Does this mean the No-drink-vember that my liver had been promised a repeat of has been and gone already? Is this something to do with those bastards at the Julian calendar again?
