Excellent. I?ve been aware of this fir years. Street furniture etc can also cause problems for blind people.

Contact your councillor with details and/or report it 020 7525 2000. It?s a nuisance and sometimes dangerous and much more so if you?re visually impaired or can?t move easily out of the way (like if you use a frame or wheelchair and the branches take up lots of space on the footpath). I think councillors should be alert to this problem as they go about their business and work on clearing up the problem.

In Catford we have this at end our road forced go bli'd rou'd corner cars coming out carpark people trying social distance.

I'm disabled trying walk not get cut by overhanging bushes thorns.

I'd quite like it if the pavements could be reserved for pedestrians and if runners/joggers would not use them as part of their fitness routine .

But I'm getting old and prefer to amble along peacefully .
