Anyone know of any eligible single men - late 30s to mid 40s

Recommended Posts

I am a single lady (ignore mr tarquin name). Well educated, own house and car. Interests..art, music, theatre etc.

Looking for a sincere guy, funny, handsom and most importantly someone who is able and wants a relationship. Thougnt I'd give this a go.

Thanks!

Not necessarily - I met my (rather fine) partner via the internet. Mind you, I am fairly sure that a 'cold call' advert on a general forum probably isn't the best way of going about things. Stranger things have happened though...

Can I recommend you add football to that list of interests. Lie if you have to. It's a winner. Once you are in the relationship you can admit it was a load of boll*cks.

Looks like your brain has already shrivelled up in a prune-like manner e-dealer! No offence.

There are some good points here, but I think I'd prefer a woman that likes more feminine things (controversial). Also, if she likes football she might want to tag along when you want to watch it with your mates.

Poor Rose (or is it Barbara?)*

She has put a genuine plea out for love and everyone here has turned it into a debate on football vs rugby or grammatical errors

If this lot are anything to go by, you may be better off getting a dog !

Hello everyone

Wow...I actually got some replies to this...even though some ended up being about the grammatical error (spelling mistake), (it was late when I wrote this ad Uncleglen). Football and rugby lol..and I like the bargin basement one, that did make me laugh again! Thanks Artful for acknowledging that I am indeed looking for love and one of the posts indeed ended up a debate about football vs rugby. For the record I prefer football especially international football!

I am 46 but a young one..49 is ok, but without wanting to offend any men, a 49 year old that has looked after himself. I tried this website, because those of you who are single out there, can appreciate how hard it is too meet somone.

Look forward to more posts..maybe you have single friend.

Cheers

Barbara

ps Rose is mothers name!

    • Hi, The seller has already been restricted from making posts on the forum (including in the For Sale board) straight after you initially reported this. They do however still have access to their private messages so that they can contact you. If its clear that they have no intention of resolving then they will be permanently banned.   I would recommend making contact with the company as you will require evidence that the item is stolen if you plan to report this to the police. If so there is useful information on the Citizen's Advice website: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/somethings-gone-wrong-with-a-purchase/if-you-think-youve-bought-stolen-goods
    • That's like the cartoon of the person who goes to IKEA for tea lights, comes out laden with stuff and says "Damn, I forgot the tea lights"  😂
    • Have you tried contacting the company the laptop belongs to? I expect they would be interested.....
    • Last week I bought a Galaxy Chromebook Go on this forum, the seller was not home when I went to pick it up, I texted him and he found an excuse apologized and said he could deliver,  I accepted and later that evening he delivered the item in the original box ... all seemed ok until my son (it was supposed to be a present for him) opened it and tried to log in his google account, to our surprise it stated that the laptop was property of a company and could not be used without authorization. We tried to contact the seller, and he initially provided some excuses, but after his initial responses, he stopped replying to our messages. I informed EDForum but no action has been taken as the seller is still present on the forum... I am very disappointed
