Fun and experienced Nanny Looking for family to join a share

Hello

My nanny share arrangement is coming to an end in September, as my nanny share family will be sending their 2.5 year old son to nursery. As such, I am looking for another family to share with from mid-September onwards.

I myself have known the current family I?m working with for over 4 years and have nannied for them for almost 2 years. I have over 12 years childcare experience, of which many of my years were spent at Nelly?s nursery in West Dulwich. I am kind, loving, gracious and gentle; I love working with children and believe I upholds beautiful and good morals and values.

My current hours are 8am - 6pm Monday - Thursday. I am currently still looking after a 2.5 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. I do the school drop offs and pick-ups for the 6 year old (a very caring and loving brother), which works seamlessly. During the day the 2.5year old (a very social and active toddler) and myself often attend play groups, farms forests, parks, various different outings etc (COVID permitting) The family are planning to send their 2.5 year old daughter to nursery in September 2021. As I use the car quite a bit for the outings and school runs, I can only fit 3 children in the car.

Ideally the share would suit someone who needs care for a younger sibling/toddler during school hours, or who hasn?t secured a nursery place, 3 or 4 days a week to fit in around the above arrangement. I?m also happy to alternate care at the other families house.

I live locally and have great references. My current family are based in Nunhead and the 6 year old goes to school in West Dulwich.

If you think this may fit your needs, please kindly PM me and I?d love to meet you to discuss further.

Thank you. X

Hi Carley

This is Alex Johnson, Freddie Johnson's mum (at Nelly's.

I'm looking into getting a nanny to looking after Freddie's twin sisters, who will be turning 1 in October.

I was ideally looking at 2 days a week, ideally Monday and Thursday, but may consider 3 days depending on costs etc. I was looking from October or November onwards.

We live in Lordship Lane near the Lordship pub.

It would be great to understand how a nanny share arrangement works, and costs.

My number is 07980 548 171.

Many thanks

Alex

    • Does anyone have an update? They were supposed to be finished by January. There is still fencing everywhere and a huge puddle/pond in the south west corner. No sign of a “bund” either. Nothing on Southwark website.

    • I am sure what the new plan is but who knows how the postal service will work from here onwards
    • My experience is that my local letter box does have week-day-ly collections - but I think very early in the morning, not at the old 'around 5.00pm' times. There are several daily collections from the box outside the Forest Hill Road sub-post office. I don't think the 'Monday' tab is now ever changed. Mail collections from boxes have got nothing to do with the service we (don't) get from the Peckham Delivery Office. Your Wednesday 12th posting would probably only have been collected on Thursday 13th, if it was posted after 9.00am. If it was being delivered in East Dulwich (where the Peckham DO does come into play) then getting it by the following Tuesday is probably par for the course.
