Isn't he moxons too? They often seem to help move the trailer with their van at the end of the market.

As regards the shop itself, it is often quite midweek around lunchtime and onwards into the afternoon. You could always pop in then and ask them how to buy scallops and what they will charge.

I was disappointed with Sopers on my last visit. Fish really looked a bit tired. It was at the tail end of lockdown and also later on in the day but nevertheless...?I chose not to buy

Always had a good experience with Moxons. You get what you pay for and a long queue is often a good sign. Lots of customers with a fast turnover of fish is no bad thing

Scallops are pricey. Order them in advance then go collect

Just to put everyone out of their misery..

I am Not desperate to Buy Scallops.

I have lasted nearly 70 years without them.

I watch a lot of cooking programs on TV and just though I might try them sometime.

To be Honest I think the moment has long passed by.

There you go. If you are frying them with a bit of chorizo Id start with these, then you decide if you want to go all SE22 and buy supposedly fresh

I think Iceland are good for a lot of things, eg their fresh veg is generally very good quality, but they do also sell a lot of rubbishy processed food.
