Hi all My name is Natalie and I live in 'East Dulwich', I am interested to know if anyone has had any difficulties with communicating with secondary schools in reagards to behaviour issues. I am aware that when difficulties arise there is sometimes problems with parents being labelled especially thoes from single parent families and communication issues come into play. At the moment I would like to see if there are any parents who have any problems in that department to determine if there are support for parents. I would appreciate if you could drop me a message and i will reply asap and i will give further information. Many Thanks.

What kind of support are you looking for?

Ask for a copy of the behaviour policy , you should also have a home-school agreement so refer to that. Schools will also have anti bullying policies if you feel that is relevant.

I would suggest speaking to tutor group / class leader, then if you are not happy asking for a meeting with year head. If you have concerns still ask for a meeting with the head. You may possibly want to meet with SENCO too.

If you are still unhappy then write to governors.

Hope that helps with your concerns.

    • I’m younger than you but have received a couple of cheques in the past year or so. And also written one out. Depositing a cheque is actually less of a faff then setting up a new payee or sharing your details. Just open the app, go the section to deposit money and take a picture of the cheque.
