Alex K
Did you have any luck with this? Can you make a recommendation? I've given up on borrowing a fencepost driver through the Forum (enquiry in separate thread) and shall now try to have one made. Alex K
That fencepost driver -- found it in the States for ?20 (similar here, ?50). HOWEVER. Gerry of A-Star Welding, in Peckham (0796 081 1254), quoted me ?40 on making one and then, after visiting the Old Kent Road Selco's, rang me to say -- There's one there for ?30, shall I pick it up for you?Now that's decent behaviour. And if I hadn't visited a B&Q outside Pittsburgh and found that fencepost driver for US$29.50, I'd have gladly taken him up on his offer. Can't tell you anything about the welder, but I'm favourably impressed by the bloke.
