Looking for an experienced gardener - preferably with knowledge of Honey Fungus

We strongly suspect there is honey fungus in our small garden. Is there anyone out there who has some knowledge of this fungus, who can dig out a relatively small amount of soil & roots, insert a plastic membrane into the ground & then refill the area with new soil/topsoil. New plants will be needed after that. Can anyone recommend someone who could undertake this job. We'd also welcome feedback from anyone, particularly those with gardens, who have experience of this Fungus. Thanks.

Hi, we have treated this before, but it is very rare in this area. Unless you have some very shady wooded areas of the garden. It is a fungus with a rhizome root system & needs either deep excavation or as you say a thick weed barrier like a pond liner. Easiest done in sections & the only treatment that is non toxic would probably be Jeyes fluid. It?s pretty back breaking work getting all that soil out , bagging & dumping. But happy to take a look & give you an assessment, but just to let you know, we are getting fairly busy
