JohnL
You can't stop aging unless you find the fountain of youth, you can wear a wig (like that Tory MP) but people may laugh. Luckily I'm only two of those. If I had to choose two, I?d go for fat and middle class. You can get over being fat, and who cares about being middle class 😃 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/257405-peak-guardian/page/3/#findComment-1489499 Share on other sites

snowy
Given that Jay Rayner also used to post on Urban 75, I?m not sure trolley would be welcomed there either. Seabag
I think we should be mindful not to be too harsh on TS. He may have melted somewhere, cringing or mock dry heaving even, which seems prevalent amongst a certain group of people.Or maybe just binging on more Jay Rayner reviews, or even cooking his restaurant at home kit, which is nice to do on a Saturday. Who knows, maybe he?s got Steven Taylor round for a slap up meal.Anything is possible. TheCat
More delectable prose from Jay today to satisfy my base middle-class instincts. While reading this I've found that I've managed to slip an entire roast chicken in the front of my trousers, without even realising it....https://www.theguardian.com/food/2021/feb/14/jay-rayner-cooks-recipes-from-roast-chicken-and-other-stories-by-simon-hopkinson Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/257405-peak-guardian/page/3/#findComment-1490026 Share on other sites
