Hi all,

Just had a knock on the door from a friendly guy down from Newcastle T&D Fisheries selling fish. He says they're down every 12 weeks selling fresh fish in bulk to freeze - minimum 30 packets...

If these guys do come down every 12 weeks then I guess they are legit. Has anyone bought fish from them before? I've heard stories of scammers selling bad fish door to door.

I really hope they're legit, and not trying to take advantage of people during covid who are stuck at home without being able to get out to shop.

Any intel much appreciated!

Thanks

They have been coming to the area for years rain or shine - seems a long journey to sell the freshest of the fresh. And friendly enough but 30 packets is a lot of fish to freeze, unless you can eat it all very quickly!
