Hi, I would like to also recommend Nerris, he has just completed some built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and cabinets for us and did a brilliant job- reliable, fast worker (most of carpentry work done off site), great rates, and clean too. Thoroughly recommended!
Nerris has just been round to our place to do a job - based on recommendations from this forum - and he did a great, quick job. Equally importantly, he arrived beforehand to agree what needed to be done (and the price) at the time agreed, and similarly, he turned up to do the work on time and didn't muck around. Very reliable, very good, generally nice guy. Highly recommended.
Another vote for Nerris, had him round today to sort a list of carpentry jobs I'd built up. He was punctual, as he was when he came round to quote, tidy and did a very professional job at a top price. Highly recommend him and I'll definately contact him again when I need more carpentry done.
Yep, also recommend Nerris, who I contacted following other recommendations on the forum. Needed a fitted kitchen door re-hanging after getting new washing machine. Came round same evening, did job in 15 minutes, cleaned up and charged a very reasonable fee. Small job, but perfectly executed - thanks!!

Just to add that Nerris built us a 2.8m by 2.3m fitted cupboard in our kitchen in mid December, and looks great - really happy with the work and happy to recommend and vouch for. Doors specced to match our kitchen, at considerably less cost than off the peg, and with nice customisations as we wanted.

Thanks Nerris....

    • Dave Jones came round to ours last week to paint our large bathroom, utility room, fix the render outside our windows and do some grouting. Cannot recommend him enough - he is personably, respectful, extremely good at his job and honestly very reasonably priced for the quality of work he produces. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks Dave!
    • A rather old article about the benefits of leaving the Common Agricultural Policy  https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/oct/10/brexit-leaving-eu-farming-agriculture I'm not sure if we have seen any benefits yet.  CAP was acknowledged to be CrAP by many I knew in this area, but major reform a challenge. Not sure why I should be posting possible benefits of Brexit - what about those of you who voted leave.  Where is Cat nowadays!
    • I am occasionally involved in a charity that helps manage a wooded area.  I hope that all of you who are posting their concern about the cherry tree also volunteer their time in similar organisations.  I expect that this would be better use of your time.
