Stolen bike

My daughters bike was stolen yesterday, it?s a road bike, black frame and white seat/handle bars.

Brand Norco Valence, it?s an adult size.

Our bikehangar was cut open and both locks were cut...please let me know if you were to come across it!

This seems to be a regular occurrence.

The Bike Hangers are simply NOT Secure.

Really sorry to hear that - I posted on the other thread re stolen bikes in terms of what to do to try to recover it so might be worth a look?

Is this another Cyclehoop hanger that has been broken into?

Yes, on Matham Grove.

I emailed them to let them know, they replied by asking do I want to keep the space..caring customer service!!!

there has been a real spate of these lately - really awful - especially as more people are wanting to cycle (probably the market forces behind these thefts)

really hope everyone gets them back or some insurance payout.

Im sorry to hear this they are obviously targeting the area. Its not just the bike hangers though as the culprits are using a portable angle grinder to remove any D locks so no bike is really safe even if locked!

Could the hangars and bikes be alarmed in some way?

Crawthew Grove one was busted open last week and one bike stolen. Apparently they've reinforced it now, whatever that means. Since lockdown we've stopped using it anyway to avoid contact.
