The Dulwich & District baby & toddler playgroup is on the first & third Tuesdays of the month.

That means tomorrow and the following dates: 18th September, 2nd & 16th October, 6th & 20th November and 4th & 18th December.

There's plenty of space, toys, craft activities, juice, biscuits and singing for the toddlers plus a separate area for babies. The grown ups get coffee and cake and a chance to chat with other multiples parents/carers whilst their twins or triplets play.

The well-equipped church has changing facilities, limited onsite parking (with more street parking nearby) and plenty of room for double buggies. Parents and other family members, carers and expectant parents are all welcome. It only costs ?2 for members and ?3 for non-members and runs from 10 - 11.45am at the Herne Hill United Reform Church (at the top of Red Post Hill in SE24). Just turn up or PM us for more information.

This is on tomorrow morning. Our usual nursery rhyme session will be replaced with the rather more polished Caterpillar Music. They're giving a 10 minute sample session of their music classes. They're starting a new class in East Dulwich soon and offer a fantastic twins deal of one twin goes free.

The playgroup is on this Tuesday, the 6th November.

ShutterBaby Baby & Child Photography will be coming along to run mini professional photography sessions. This is a great opportunity to get some high quality pictures taken of your twins/triplets and yourself included if you so wish.

A 15 minute session costs ?10 with prints costing ?5 for a 6x4, ?10 for a 12x8 and ?15 for a high-res digital image. If you buy 4 prints, you get the 5th free. Payment is in cash/cheque on the day only please. Your prints/digital images will be ready for collection at the following playgroup on the 20th November.

Sara-Jane's style is fun and relaxed - visit [www.shutterbaby.co.uk] for examples of her images.

Sessions must be booked in advance so please let me know if you would like to book one.

Thanks

    • Farmers aren't being gifted anything; Their heirs are being gifted millions of pound worth of income generating assets by chance of birth. An estate that they have done nothing to earn. Most farms worth under £3m will still end up being passed on tax free. Those that do have to a pay inheritance tax will do so at just 20% on that part which is over the threshold (rather than the standard 40%), and they'll have 10 years to do so (usually it is payable immediately). So it is still preferential terms for those being gifted a multimillion pound estate So to repeat my previous question... Why do you think people coming into a massive, unearned windfall shouldn't pay any tax, but a nurse who works hard for everything they earn, should pay tax? ...as a result of increased energy prices. How would you like to see Reeves stem the long term decline in public services and infrastructure? Where would you raise taxes?
    • We recently used Jan at Silver Fern for some fencing and driveway works, he also built a side return shed which is now a water tight space for storage.    Would certainly recommend speaking to Jan for gardening or landscaping needs. http://www.silverfernlondon.co.uk [email protected]
    • And the latest shocker, Inflation this morning was 2.3% up from 1.7& the previous month, a 0.6% increase in a month, that is dreadful. So Robber Reeves plan is already working (NOT). Inflation has begun to increase and will continue to do so, I predict the next set of unemployment figures will show a rise. Neither of these things can be blamed on the last Govt, it's down to the inept budget and impact it is having already.
    • Andrews and Arnold are brilliant https://www.aa.net.uk/. If there's any problems someone picks up the phone on the 2nd or 3rd ring and several times they have rung me immediately after I sent an e-mail. As they are primarily B2B, their support is excellent and there are a lot fewer miscommunications with OpenReach. Go to their website and enter your postcode which will show you exactly what type of broadband is available in your area.
