Blake mural

The thread regarding the other mural on Goose Green has prompted me to ask what's the story behind the Blake mural? It's so lovely, and what a shame someone decided to improve it by tagging. Would it be possible to arrange to have it cleaned up and repaired? I'd chip in!

I'd talk to the local councillor first of all, whoever that may be, and explain that there is interest in restoring it. Is the person who painted it still around. Also, the jumpingjournalist on this site might be interested in it as a good community self-help story. Nero

The mural is by Goose Green swings, on the side of a house facing the big swings.

I've contacted Friends of Goose Green and if I don't hear from them will follow up with Cllr Paul Noble whom I believe is the bloke in charge of restoring the Green. Will try a different tack if they feel it's outside their remit. Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know it's being chased up.
