imarockstar
My local thrift store has kids shorts on sale right now for about $0.35 per pair. I'm planning to sell a bunch of my daughter's clothes at a kids rummage sale this coming spring and I'm debating on whether it makes sense to buy a whole bunch of pairs of shorts to flip them at the sale. It's one of those sales where you get 70% of the price that your item sells for. It's a pretty low effort way to sell because you tag your items, drop them off, then they mail you a check. Baby sizes don't sell very well, but big kid clothes (4T and up) sell really well. Kid's shorts generally sell at the sale for about $2-$2.50 per pair- more for neutral colors and nicer brands and less for smaller sizes, weird colors, or cheap brands. Would it be weird to "flip" thrift store shorts? Any advice about selling kid's clothes? So far, I've only sold my own kid's stuff.
