Hi. I?ve been volunteering for this fantastic organisation made up of events professionals from the theatre, live and business events sectors. @peoplepowered20. We've been working with hospitals, GP surgeries and care homes helping in any way we can, using our events skills to help flatten the curve and support those in most need.

My role is based in South East London and currently working on ?Wobble Rooms? at Lewisham & Woolwich hospitals. These are spaces we are creating for hospital staff when they need to have a few quiet moments away from the stress of the wards.

We?re in need of?. A coffee pod machine, 2 x wipe-clean arm chairs, washable soft furnishings such as throws and cushions and warm festoon lighting.

If any of you wonderful people can help. Please get in touch!

Check out www.peoplepowereduk.org to see just a few of the great projects we have delivered.

    • How can a supermarket "run out of gas"? Was that a joke? The Metro article is referring to the central gas supply, surely? Which hasn't actually run out yet.
    • What good would it do reporting it to the press? If one thinks it is a major issue, just for a moment, think about the hardship in cities in Ukraine where residents  are lucky to get one hour of electricity a day and where water is not being pumped to residential blocks.
