Jessie
Or just perhaps not the African kids, as this is an 'African' nightclub, whatever that means Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25243-morning-police-action-east-dulwich-road/#findComment-571314 Share on other sites
uncleglen
Again- totally inconsiderate behaviour by morons on a work night. What is it with these people who seem to be deliberately provocative in their actions towards neighbours in residential areas- hopefully they will have their sound system confiscated- if they do it again. Nice to see the police turned up though. EDOliver
Things like this really annoy me - it's basically them sticking two fingers up saying screw you lot we'll do what we want when we want! Have these idiots not got jobs to go to?? DulwichFox
I think you will find these incidents are called 'Blues Parties' Usually a gathering of West Indian men Drinking and buying alcohol from the home ownwer They were very common in the 70's. Usually noisy and lasting long into the next day. Bit unfortunate if you live nearby. Used to be one next door to one when I was living with mum and dad in our Peckham flat. 70's Really drove them mad and made them ill with no sleep for days on end. Fox. Pugwash
The flats are a sheltered housing scheme and rented to those over 55 years old. They used to have a warden - not sure if they have a 24 hour one now. I think they were part of the the English Churches Housing Assoc.
