I am excited to have the opportunity to be applying for the position of Nanny for your family in East Dulwich.

Before this pandemic hit, I was hired as a nanny for a nice family in East Dulwich, I cared for 3 children ages 5, 9 and 11. My responsibilities included preparing healthy and nutritious meals, entertaining: reading, cooking and arts and crafts with the children. My main priority was looking after the youngest child by bathing her and collecting her from school and her afterschool clubs.

Additionally, I have been a helping hand for my family and friends for a long time now, being the eldest of 3.

I played a very important role during the upbringing of my siblings Shannon and Tevin, who are now age 7 & 9. Being their older sister, they constantly look to me for guidance. Beyond basic childcare, I help them work their homework, prepare healthy dishes, set reading times and most importantly I listen to them. Proudly to this day I always show my full attention to what interests them.

Additionally I have also cared for my severely disabled grandmother, I mostly helped her with completing the house chores, cooking and watering the garden plants.

Alongside this I was Project Manager for a live music events company. I worked with people from different backgrounds, listened to each opinion and decided on the most suited and beneficial outcome, this experience benefited me with strong leadership skills as well as time management skills as I was constantly meeting deadlines, completing tasks with plenty of time ahead. Lastly I am approachable and friendly: I was the boss that people could approach and share intimate issues with.

My experience and personal skills make me a patient and reliable candidate who will effectively assist in the running of your household.

I am also qualified in pediatric first aid. (I have attached my CV)

    • In answer to your question Pugwash, the variety of foods that they offer both in canned goods and fresh. i personally no longer am a Sainsbury customer after years - feel that the quality of both their fruit, veg and fresh products ie meat, chicken, fish is not of a quality that they use to be. Agree with Sue that Co- Op does not make for a pleasant shopping experience.  On the subject of Waitrose not coming to ED - one can only assume that market research has been done by the company which makes it a non starter which, when you think about it is strange as all the big contenders are here.. Perhaps the powers to be have never heard of ED!! Maybe a Lidl or Aldi will rear their heads but somehow can’t see it as space is way to small. Really is strange that Waitrose is a non arrival - never ceases to amaze me how many eateries are in Lordship Lane alone and the majority all survive.
