Samuns90
Hey Everyone,The Bike Project (link at bottom) do great work fixing up donated bikes (in pretty much any state) then getting them to refugees who use them for essential stuff. Ordinarily they rely on people taking bikes to them but that's obviously tricky in these weird times and their donations have dropped.I've therefore offered to be a temporary drop-off point on Barry Road for SE22 and areas around, next Thursday night (7th) from 5 - 7:30pm. Will all be contact free and from a safe distance. Send me a DM if you have stuff to donate and I'll let you know full address (and happy to provide evidence that this isn't a seriously poor taste hustle - they'll also be crossposting on social media etc later in the week). Also if you're interested in being a drop-off point for them in a different area.Bikes are lifelines for some people right now.Cheershttps://thebikeproject.co.uk/https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0815/1?355/files/2019_Impact_Report_Low_Res.pdf??v=1583778801 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/252183-contact-free-donations-of-bikes-for-refugees-the-bike-project-next-thurs-night-in-se22/ Share on other sites
