ianr
Mine has blown and I'm after a replacement to buy or borrow. It's for a Toshiba, though adaptors for other machines may be suitable. Necessary requirements are: (1) it should provide something like 18-19 volts, 75 watts DC. That probably goes for many types. (2) The plug that goes into the laptop should have centre pole positive (again that goes for most types, and is easily checked) and should match the one in the attached photo. Its external and internal diameters are 5 and 3 mm, and the connections are made via two metal strips recessed inside the diametrically opposed slots. So a plug with a centre pin will NOT be suitable. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/252135-laptop-mains-adaptor-needed/ Share on other sites
