alc2013
Has anyone found a quiet jogging route in the area? I normally go on the jogging track in Dulwich park, but there are quite a lot of walkers on there and dogs and it's often hard to get 2 metres distance. I think it would help if they introduced some signage with the rules for joggers, dogs etc. In the meantime I'd love to know if people have found a quiet route? fishbiscuits
I go out after dark... everywhere very quiet. I understand not everyone feels safe doing that, though. seenbeen
If you are out jogging in the evening then steer well clear of Woodwarde Road as there are several houses burning wood and your lungs will suffer Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/251718-quiet-jogging-route/#findComment-1413279 Share on other sites
gromit316
How do you get the motivation to do it.Keep saying to myself get up early to exercise, every morning this week when I wake up, I'll do it tomorrow:-( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/251718-quiet-jogging-route/#findComment-1413292 Share on other sites
jimlad48
I'd say there are plenty of side roads and quiet victorian streets that are very peaceful - I'm running most days and going nowhere near a park. And with me, when I've managed to achieve a certain level of fitness, the fear of regressing is sufficient to motivate me to get out for a jog now and again (or to the gym in peace time). womanofdulwich
ithink if you feel like that you could try using something like strava, (and not share it), and then see if you can improve your times/ distances.
