katgod
Can you buy sick bags? The type you get on aeroplanes? Have never seen but never looked. Or if anyone has any other suggestion, other than a Tupperware box, for dealing with the inevitable 'I feel sick' moment on our drive to France? It usually comes to nothing which is why the box annoys me - I am after a space saving solution that will work on the rare moments there is an in car puke! nunheadmum
Freezer bags or compost bags? Potette bags also very good. All depends on age of child. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25111-sick-bags/#findComment-569050 Share on other sites
espelli
I've used these on a school coach journey to Devon and they were brilliant - worth every penny to stop the smell setting others off!http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cleanis-Vom-Vomit-Bags-x20/dp/B003LY7CQW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1345143085&sr=8-2I have also used gusseted freezer bags with a thick wadge of tissue in the bottom which works quite well too and is cheaper. Peckhamgatecrasher
Get 'victim' to focus on the horizon for at least 30 seconds, normally settles the stomach. Don't allow reading in while travelling. Press on pulse point inside wrist. These usually alleviate motion sickness. katgod
Gusseted freezer bag is exactly the sort of wise counsel I was looking for. Genius. Thanks everyone. Usually comes to nothing but best to be prepared. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25111-sick-bags/#findComment-569087 Share on other sites
