Hello all,

Hope everyone is fairing okay with Covid-19.

I picked up a beautiful book in ED this weekend; "The Bible of Illuminated Letters: a treasury of decorative calligraphy" by Margaret Morgan.

It seems like no better time to try out this beautiful and historic art and literary form. I already know what my first big piece is going to be, inspired by "The Happy Life" in The Tudors (Henry Howard's translation of Martial:

The Quite Mind; Wisdom joined with simplicity.

I was wondering if anyone has any equipment they are looking to sell which will help me start this journey. Here are a few things I am looking for, but this list is not exhaustive:

- Paints (gouache)

- Pens and nibs: drawing nibs, calligraphy nibs (straight-cut/ edged etc)

- Brushes: (sizes 000, 00, 0, 1)

- Any nice papers for caligraphy

- Ink

- Work surface stuff

Any other suggestions appreciated!

Thanks and have a good day.

P.s. if anyone is looking for affordable, flexible and adapted to you, in-home yoga classes (or in the park etc) admists the Covid-19 pandemic please get in touch.
