I need to buy a 1st birthday present for my niece. Can anyone give me ideas. Approx spend ?25... What popular/ good???

One of the biggest successes for my daughters 1st birthday was this:

Alternatively some nice clothes or pyjamas from somewhere like mini Boden or the little white company.

Or some nice books... Winnie the pooh or Beatrix potter collection. Some good baby books are the Tales from Acorn Wood selection or anything by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. Check out amazon for deals.

My daughter's favorite present for her 1st birthday was her scuttlebug - she adored it and still (at nearly 3) rides it around the house, though she is now a little bit big for it!
