wee quinnie
Hi all - I'd love one of these...but just for in the house in January. Is this madness? Should I just turn the heating up?http://www.lippiselkbag.co.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2497-should-i-get-one-of-these/ Share on other sites

KalamityKel
Oh u mean you want to go out and about in it? May I suggest a dark colour then - street dirt can make one look rather messy :p Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2497-should-i-get-one-of-these/#findComment-74683 Share on other sites
wee quinnie
Actually, no I wasn't planning on going out and about in it - I was slightly going off on a tangent there. Although you are right about the colour choice - I'd probably look like a radioactive butter ball if I picked the yellow one for outdoors. *Bob*
Are you a 'feel the cold' person, Quinnie?Does your other 'arf have to sit there in winter, central heating on full blast, down to his pants and vest, sweating cobs whilst you're wearing a polo-neck and scarf and still a bit chilly? Bellenden Belle
I think they are absolutely fabulous but strictly indoors only - it could look like something Naomi Campbell would wear while doing community service. I do feel the cold, however Mr Wee Quinnie (despite being Australian), hates "overly warm" houses - so do I, but what constitutes "overly warm" differs for us. Somehow this seems to work out as the house temp suiting him more than me. Bah!I take it you think the outfit is a tad bonkers. I could carry this look off myself if I shot up about a foot, whilst remaining the weight I am now. For me to wear outdoors I think would look a bit Oompa Loompan. *Bob*
I suspect that the website promotional pictures (slim man in 'Kill Bill' coloured-suit adopting a range of hip-hop style poses) may not match-up to the reality. lozzyloz
Can you zip two (or more) together like with proper sleeping bags? Could be handy for those mid winter picnics on Goose Green. *Bob*
How would they zip together? Like paper-chain men? Or one on top of the other (with a velcro window for easy genital access)? lozzyloz
I think the option of front-to-front or front-to-back and it'll win every design award going. buggie
am I the only one who thought the "2" one was for 2 and until I looked, got confused why 3 people would all want to be zipped up together?!! Look great though - would save the risk of draughts when rolling over!!
