It is affiliated to The Abbeyfield Society, a nationwide charity whose aim is to alleviate loneliness in the elderly.We are looking to employ a House Manager to work up to a maximum of 25 hours a week.Responsibilities of the House Manager will include:? overseeing the day-to-day operation of the house? line managing the housekeepers? acting as a first port of call for the reporting of maintenance issues, and arranging for their repair? attending to renewals (insurance, licences etc.)? arranging and attending Trustee and House Committee meetings? keeping handbooks, policies and residents? files up to date? inducting new volunteersThe hours are flexible and may mostly be worked either from home, or from a dedicated office on-site. This is a rewarding position for someone who has organisational skills, is interested in working for a not-for-profit organisation, and enjoys the company of older people. Abbeyfield Dulwich offers a friendly working environment where you would be working alongside supportive House Committee members and volunteers.The salary offered is ?17,500.00 per annum.
