Homeland??

We have a 6 yr old Panasonic Smart TV but the sound track of this great series is almost incomprehensible. Do others find this or are we just unlucky?

The sound on modern tvs is notoriously poor, I would invest in a decent soundbar or just connect your telly to your hifi if you can, all you need is a cable...

Mine was OK on a Samsung watching on Sky but anything on Sky I have to turn the volume right up - switch to Netflix and you get deafened.

Homeland has subtitles which I like to have on. You might be unlucky. I watched it on a Sony with Virgin and it was fine. Netflix on Virgin needs the sound turned way up especially for films

It's expensive if you don't get the offer - even then it's not meant to be great in comparison to other soundbars (compared to the TV itself it will be amazing)

Because I'm a Sonos house I use a Beam for my telly - if I was JUST buying it for a soundbar I think that would be pricey for the job as well (it's good tho)
