Noooooooo not if the cat does not go out it's not true!

Cats going out anywhere = fleas.

Cats too scared to go out + someone coming in the house with fleas on them = fleas.

My cat never going out + me never bringing fleas home = no fleas.

I actually never get bitten even abroad, but I have been bitten on the back of my knee this week. Weird:(

Apparently, according to my VERY reliable sources (the mad man who lives under the stage at work) it's all to do with "those bugs that are coming over with the wind from down that way". Does this mean anything to anyone?
