De-soldering IC chips from computer motherboard

I have a Nikon scanner of which 2 chips on the motherboard needs to be desoldered, taken out and replaced. I am wondering if anyone local may have experience with doing that kind of task before who can help me out ? Please pm me, I am happy to pay for the time. Thanks !

  True, there was an awful lot of rain but the flooding seems worse than before all the work started!
