A bright and airy, newly refurbished and furnished, self-contained one person flat in a very quiet residential street in Herne Hill. Available to rent on a Monday-Friday basis (some weekends can also be agreed with the homeowners in advance). ?850 a month, ?500 deposit.

The flat is a garage conversion, annexed to a family home and providing complete privacy. Downstairs is a lounge cum kitchen and a shower room. Upstairs is a bedroom with double bed, bedside table, double wardrobe, and dual aspect windows. Space saving (relatively steep) staircase with paddle steps.

Ideal for a professional working in London but living elsewhere, who would like a self-contained and quiet place to stay during the week. Non smoking.

Fully furnished including crockery, kitchen equipment etc. You would be welcome to leave some personal belongings over the weekends. All bills and wifi are included in the rent, plus change of sheets / towels (if required) and cleaning at least fortnightly.

Great transport links - 7 minute walk to Herne Hill station, 15 minute walk to North Dulwich station and 5 mins to the P4 bus stop - short bus ride to Brixton or Dulwich Village.

Ruskin and Brockwell Parks are both within a 5-10 minute walk.

    • Agreed, the skate park should remain, especially with all the work those involved have put in to get it up, running and maintaining that enthusiasm.
    • Southwark is closing youth centres day centres they’re not going to spend millions on opening a new community space. What that area needs is a good supermarket. The nearest one is Sainsbury’s in Forest Hill. someone else may well know of the mechanism where a council can make a compulsory purchase. So the supermarket underneath with three or four stories of social housing long top built in the same style as the Dulwich estate.Next door.
    • I'd also like to recommend Paul! His colleague Damien did a super quick and neat job sorting out a kitchen socket for us which had stopped working. Paul is very easy to communicate with and it's great to know there is a reliable and skilled electrician in the local area. His number is 07802627967
