St Thomas More Hall, Lordship Lane

Recommended Posts

I can't imagine the Irish set dancing crowd and others generated enough money to cover the operating and maintence costs. I suspect the former Father John kept it going as a pet project.

That place could be a gold mine given it's position and size.

I know someone who was very involved before it's closure as a 'social club' and that person has a very different take on the story given by the father that closed it all down. Bit of a cheek if you ask me to now ask the local community for ideas after ignoring the suggestions and views of the community that were using it before.
