Well I was referring to Arable Farming not Dairy Farming...


Farming techniches have changed..


Removal of hedgerows means more Pesticides need to be used as the Spiders that lived in the hedgerows

and ate all the insects have gone.


Any spiders that are there cannot reach the middle of these huge fields.


The machinery that is used to harvest these fields is indeed very expensive BUT does the job of

dozens of farm hands in a fraction of the time.


Not that Farm hands were ever paid a decent wage for the work they have done.


Farmers have never had so much time on their hands...


And unlike many jobs, it's there choice..


so stop whinging, get on with it or get out of it.
