Guitar teacher recommendation?

I wondered if anyone could recommend a classical guitar teacher for my daughter (5), who wants to learn to play? Many thanks!

Hiya, not sure about his availability, but John Hudson at www.johnhudsonguitar.co.uk (sorry, I don't seem to be able to do links?) is excellent and reasonable pricewise...(as far as I can tell).

Hiya - my husband has been taking guitar lessons for almost 2 years with John now and a friend's partner takes bass lessons. We know that he teaches children as well -but don't know them personally. He can probably provide references if you ask?

I run a local music teaching service and have some lovely local classical guitar teachers who'd be delighted to teach your daughter. They're very flexible and happy to come to your house for lessons at a time to suit you. The teachers are professional musicians, experienced at teaching, and CRB checked. Most importantly, they're passionate about guitar and really love teaching, so I'm confident I'd have a teacher your daughter would enjoy learning with.

Lesson fees are ?20 for 30mins, ?25 for 45mins, ?30 for an hour and so on. You'd probably want to start her on 30mins. The teachers are very happy to teach through the holidays if you'd like that - we aren't restricted to term-times.
