HelgaLibra
I am having a disagreement with my father. He is saying that the removal of the car park on the site of the current Iceland shop, having a NEGATIVE effect on parking in the area, will mean that it won't make any difference to the parking facilities in surrounding streets. I am saying that it WILL have an adverse effect (i.e. put pressure on those trying to find a space in order to shop in M&S)and that if he were correct in his interpretation, the word NEGLIGIBLE should have been used instead of NEGATIVE.So who is right - me, saying that it will adversely affect the parking in surrounding streets and the subsequent shoppers to the new site, or him, saying that it won't make any difference to the parking and that people will find a space anyway? I know this is a trifling matter (and of negligible importance!!) but could someone put me right? Thanks.
