We have until March 6th to get the Met Police to change their mind about closing our police station. we need more access to the police not less. who wants to go and report a crime in a supermarket? what about people who are victims of a crime were do they go to talk to a police officer? dont think they want to go into a supermarket to make a complaint either. Its not only our station that is a risk but Camberwell, and Rotherhithe as well. they talk about the state of the art stations we will get somewhere in the borough but they then say it could be about 10 years before they happen. what do we do in the mean time. we all need to let the met know that we want our station open more not less.

    • Hi does anyone have a Hotwheels track (ideally which packs away neatly like the fuel can or transporter one) they've been itching to get rid of please? Needed urgently for an emergency birthday present!    Thanks!
    • Glad to hear that the cops are taking crash for cash seriously.  The situation I am aware of the driver called the police, reported it separately as dangerous motorcycling, avoided all calls from 'ambulance chasers' and subsequently got a letter from the police saying it was an unregistered rider/uninsured rider.  It was reluctantly reported to their insurers who actually did not put up the premium which was a nice surprise. So as stressful as it may be just hold firm, deny everything, take down details and report to the police.
    • Hi I am looking to join some local businesses networking events and wondering if anyone can recommend any. I know there used to be one (Cooking with Scissors) but that’s not running any more. Thanks.
    • Eats Dulwich has just reviewed Arapina, including its hot chocolate!  I assume they read the original first and  very long post on this thread before almost all of it was removed. Interesting to have another opinion!
