I think the 'MH is a tosser tag' has a lot to do with his single man days when he was always seen with a glamourpuss on his arm...''How does he do it?'', as if we didn't know. In the mid-90's I saw him in the main restaurant at the Festival Hall, sat at a table holding court with 4 such glamourpusses...I sooooo wanted to go over and ask them the 'Mrs Merton question' :-)

I too and laughed out loud at the mick hucknall interview (esp at the bit about Gordon Brown and Tony Blair..penultimate para I think) but I thought it was written like one of those 'parody' type interviews and wasn't sure it was for for real.

haha RD - that killer 'mrs merton question' works every time!

Mr Paul Hewson is chippy these days.

    • I was a late starter, just 17, when I started to go to pubs regularly.  I'd been bought a drink by a family friend before that.  We had several pubs that catered for under age drinkers, one 15 +, one 16+ etc till we graduated to the 18+ pub and felt really grown up.  And at those young ages alcohol tolerance was low so you could nurse your drink for an hour or so.
