Sally Eva
The guys will tell you what's wrong with your bike and help you fix it. You learn on the job with experienced oversight. You are welcome to come and just watch how stuff is done. Each session is a one-off not a course. What happens depends on what rolls in. It's all free and everyone is welcome. All this happens indoors 6.30-8.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of every month. The guys will be working in or around the reception area in Camberwell Leisure Centre, in the delightfully named Artichoke Place SE5 8TS. The mechanics carry some small parts like cables but not bigger ones like brake pads or wheels. There are bike shops in Camberwell where such things are for sale and Sea Bass Cycles in Camberwell Church Street is open till 7pm.The session is run by Bruno Williams on behalf of Southwark Cyclists who fund it. We are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. Our website is here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk and the LCC website is here: https://lcc.org.uk. You can contact us directly on [email protected], tweet us @southwarkcycle or text me on 07842 640 207. Everyone welcome.
