Peckhamgatecrasher
These three are traditional in order of effectiveness, in each case dab up red wine first:1. Spray on soda from old fashioned syphon2. Pour on white wine3. Pur on lots of table salt. Leave until dry. Do not be tempted to prod at it. Hoover up. SteveT
1001 spray mousse, for carpet and upholstery wet spills, available at the hardware shop with plastic bowls and stuff outside in LL.I let my daughter have a party, big mistake, when some kind soul vomited the contents of his innards which was predominantly red wine on to a beige carpet, it was the best thing I found having tried 3 or 4 other brands but the patch is now cleaner than the rest of the carpet, it happened 4 years ago.Household contents or accident insurance?
