verds
I'm thinking of looking for a bit of help with my two children aged 5 months and 3, so I can get my work done.I'll need someone to chat to the toddler and rescue the baby when she rolls, while I work upstairs. It'd be for 2-3 hours at a time, and I'd be happy to be given a shout if there are any problems. What would be the going rate for that sort of thing? Anyone know? Saffron
I would pay the same as London Living Wage, which is around ?8.50/hr. nozchik
My niece age 14 does similar job 1 or 2 days a week. i think she gets 25? for about 3-3.5 hours. in winter if it is dark outside lady pays for cab or drops her home in summer she usually walks home as it is 2 streets away. Pocket money. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23899-how-much-would-you-pay-a-babysitter-if-youre-at-home-too/#findComment-551428 Share on other sites
Otta
Home or not, it's still their time, so going rate for a babysitter is fair IMO.
