This two-hour, slow-paced circular ride starts at 10am in Dulwich Park at the Dulwich Clock Cafe (SE21 7BQ). The route is easy and quiet avoiding any big hills. Outwards riders will go via Herne Hill Velodrome, Brockwell Park and Brixton Windmill to Clapham Common

On Clapham Common, everyone will do a bit of a circuit and there will be a brief stop at Cafe near Bandstand. The retun route goes via a different bit of Brockwell Park and then Belair Park. These regular Saturday rides are suitable for all types of rider and all types of bike (well maybe not racing cyclists - they could stop at the Velodrome).

The rides are organised by Bruce Lynn and friends on behalf of Southwark Cyclists which is the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. The LCC campaigns for safer cycling in London and we can all agree with that. Like everything we do, Bruce's rides are free and everyone is welcome. You don't need to join anything, pay anything or live in Southwark. You don't need to book, just turn up. If you want more information about Southwark Cyclists then email [email protected] or tweet @southwarkcycle. For more info on the rides text Bruce on 07729 279 945

    • Elliot just fitted 5 internal doors for us and the process from start to finish was excellent. He was very quick to come back with a quote and to fit us in for the job. The job was actually completed in the time quoted which was very refreshing!! The work completed was of the highest quality and great value. We will happily recommend him now to friends who need carpentry work completed in the future
    • Peter and his team did excellent work on my flat in Nov 24 sorting vents fans and dampwork. The suggestions he made for sorting the damp have proved very effective for a long-standing and tricky problem. Efficient responsive and well priced.
    • I started this petition about 10 years ago in relation to the Heygate 're-development' (which was corrupt to the core imo). Unfortunately it didn't change anything. But the stats quoted are still shocking. Southwark ended up making a loss on the sale of a hugely valuable piece of central London land and turfed many, many families from their homes in the process. It's the same story - you have massive property / development companies, who manage to completely out manoeuvrer / run circles aorund councillors, often destroying communities and doing very little to make properties more affordable or address the housing crisis. Rather, they add further 'heat' to an out of control, international 'property investment' market. We need more council housing - high density, but mid rise imo.
    • Also a returning customer. Greg has arrived quickly in response to a couple of plumbing emergencies. Latest response was a cracking 20 minutes (he happened to be passing). He had to remove bathroom tiles to solve the problem, made sure I understood the issue first, and did a neat and tidy job. Confirmed replacement hardware was suitable and installed it as soon as it arrived. Responsive, professional, reasonable prices and a lovely guy all round. Highly recommended.
