Apologies for a rather random post but wondering if anyone might have some tips.

We are driving down to Padstow in Cornwall this week and looking to split up the journey for a few hours so that our toddler can have a run around and I can feed the baby!

We are going the A303 route as leaving from my parents place in Surrey and so I was originally thinking Stonehege but the weather is now looking appalling so am searching around for somewhere else.

Many thanks if anyone has any ideas!

You could stop at Tisbury - think is technically Dorset but just off the a303 - and have a drink/feed/runaround/bar snacks at the Beckford Arms. It's a gorgeous pub with bedrooms, lovely garden if you get a glimmer of sun, child friendly, v restorative.

We just did the return journey yesterday in pouring rain and only stopped at boring and expensive service stations.
