?a work celebrating our belonging to the wider fabric of the universe ? something we often forget? Aesthetica Magazine

Experience French & Mottershead?s moving audio work Woodland at the first public outdoor staging of the work in London at One Tree Hill, Honor Oak. Woodland describes your body?s slow fade into the leaf litter of the forest floor, whilst lying under the ancient oak on top of One Tree Hill. This work connects you deeply to your body and to the oak itself, and considers the biological and chemical processes that continue long after you are conscious, as you are gently subsumed by the earth over thousands of years. Woodland is one of four works from French & Mottershead?s Afterlife series: exploring stories in poetic yet forensic detail, of the human body?s decomposition and the influence of different environments. They collaborated with forensic anthropologists, ecologists and conservators in developing each piece, researching minute details in the science of decay and renewal to create a series of works that puncture our fear of the unknown.

Booking essential:

You can experience this meditative and deeply affecting work by booking tickets using the link below. Each listening experience lasts 30 minutes. This is an outdoor work. • Anyone doing a clearout?  I'm looking for a yoga bolster.  Thanks!
    • I use it on a weekly basis for a couple of reasons. It's generally always busy and well staffed. It's certainly more than just a drop off point for parcels and packages. I will use other shops on the lane whilst I'm down there. I'd imagine the PO being there brings a fair bit of footfall to the area.          As opposed to having to wait for customer in front of me to get there phone out, type in four digits to unlock the phones screen, then piss about scrolling to find the correct app before they eventually put the phone on the reader. Same in many Instances with cards. If you have such an issue with people using that dirty evil cash then surely the self service / card only tills are your friend!!
    • Total now £1,100. This will close in just under a week. Thanks for everyone's support
    • Hello,  You've probably already moved ahead with your floor now, but I wanted to add that I have used this company. Although the floor looks beautiful, it is very easily marked. If I drop my keys I have a hole in it. Goodness forbid if I was to drop anything else.  I do love the floor, but it is hard work, and I am constantly conscious. I wouldn't buy it again.  Best wishes.
