Had to turn our water of because of a leaking washing machine pipe. Was able to arrange a time for Daniel to come round as soon as I called him. He was prompt, got to the bottom of the situation immediately and had sorted the problem and turned the water back on in great time. Would highly recommend.

I would just like to add to this long list of recommendations my own personal recommendation.

Having had Daniel's number in my phone for over 6 months for an emergancy I finally had to use it this week. Daniel was prompt in his response and was here to look at the problem within half a day. He quickly and without fuss diagnosed the problem and quickly sorted it out. It required him to source two parts which he did and came back a day later to finish the job.

My problem was a leak that started with a drip. Water was coming through my kitchen celing from my bathroom.

I am super impressed with Daniel and would not hestitate in recommending him.

Extremely pleased with the superb efficiency and quality of works carried out by Dulwich plumbing and heating.

I have a saniflo pump fitted in my bathroom and it stopped working properly causing a nightmare!!! Called Daniel and

explained the problem and he had a new pump fitted within hours of request, brilliant service, will use again and

recommend highly.

well Daniel doesn't seem that bad but I like to use companies rather individuals as you can always get hold of them nothing against daniel, but try these guys PM Plumbing and heating they come out all year round and give wicked advice for free over the phone http://www.pmplumbingheating.co.uk/ppc.asp?location=Dulwich
Would absolutely recommend Daniel and Dulwich plumbing and Heating. These guys are efficient, thorough and extremely pleasant and friendly. They sorted a tricky problem for me at a reasonable price and were excellent in their explanation and advice. I would not hesitate to use them again for any plumbing work.
Hello - Having just registered and posted a recommendation I do not really want to enter into a dispute. Having logged in for a second time to generally have a look round the forum, I picked up the messages after mine and as a first time poster was probably being referred to. I would have thought that people who receive a good service would, as part of a thank you, wish to recommend. Within any trading history there are bound to be people who are not satsified but I sort of hoped and wished the forum might provide enough evidence to provide a balanced view of a local trader's capability and worth. I can assure you I am a real person who is genuinely pleased by the service provided by Daniel. I've taken the time to post this because in casting doubt on the credibilty of the many recommendations for this plumber you also cast doubt on the credibility of the people posting them. I have the Administrator's recent post on this section. As everyone has to register an email address when registering I will gladly confirm to the Adminstrator the validity of my post should he/she/they wish to contact me privately

dan and co,

You have caused me so much stress !

After accepting your quotation on the removal of 1 radiator and installation of a towel rail

i have been left with a radiator removed as per quotation, but no fitted towel rail (Apparently run ut of time at 2:20pm)

and black gunk out of old radiator all around the floor tile grout and 3/4 large drips down my stairs on my week old cream carpet.

you are very aggressive when i would not pay on your uncompleted works,

and i wish i had took the time to read your negative reviews, as they all seem rather accurate.

worst experience of a tradesman ever.

Avoid,

Sylvia

i have no idea who this person is if you had some work done it wasn't by me and had nothing to do with my company. curious very strange someone would post this. my numbers are 07879 220 447 or 07852 757 654 please call me and explain this mater thanks daniel.
sedm - I totally sympathise with your message (2nd Jan). I had a very similar experience with Daniel and am kicking myself for paying him anything at all. I revised my initial message posted on the 16th December, which was only posted due to him pestering me. He caused me so much stress and obviously wasn't up to the job at all. He also cancelled a number of times and I have no doubt he'd accepted other jobs and was trying to juggle them all. I have been considering legal action but as it was all paid in cash and no contract I'm unsure on where we stand. Private message me if you have looked in to this as there seems to be a number of people on here now that may be interested in seeking legal advice. I'm definitely expecting to see him on Rogue Traders one day.

Again I had a very very negative experience with Daniel- he was awful to deal with- I found him to be completely unreliable, he never turned up or dealt with any of the issues. I am dissatisfied with the advice I received, and if I had received full advice I would never have embarked upon the recommended works. Other plumbers have advised me of the downsides of the works completed but in essence we still have a cold house and now a broken boiler.

In my experience Daniel is only prompt is seeking payment and I would not recommend him to anyone! Sorry it goes against the grain to do negative feedback as I appreciate everyone needs to make a living but in my opinion he gives plumbers a bad name and dealing with him was exceptionally stressful.

It is my understanding that Dulwich Plumbing and Heating work as an agency so they outsource the work....the work is as good as the sub contractor who turns up!! We were lucky as Paul Fenning turned up to our house, he was honest, decent and reliable- without him I would have gone mad.

When we had no heating, he was willing to come to our house with heaters (as we have small children) and come back and finish the contracted works.

Paul's mobile number is 07753938142 and his email is [email protected]

I can recommend Paul but unfortunately not Daniel.

Daniel and "mates" at Dulwich Plumbing and Heating are a complete let down. They left us with a bodged job, which after promising to fix have avoided our calls leavig us in a mess over a month later.

Sorry for the negative post I cant stand letting these cowboys get away with it...will give the other recomendations a go to try and fix the mess that Dulwich Plumbing and Heating have left us.

    • We went there yesterday for lunch, which was really delicious and excellent value. A starter plus a main is £11.95 for their "lunchtime special". Just a main is £8.95. We had excellent gyozas to start, then I had pad thai and my partner had a stir fry, both with tofu. They were large helpings,  freshly cooked, with fresh veg. There is the option to have chicken or beef (prawns are £2 extra) Also they now have Thai beer (Singha) on draught or in bottles (previously it was being your own alcohol). The service was also good. We were sorry and surprised not to see more people in there, particularly as there was a match on. It is really worth the short walk from Lordship Lane!
