We used to use Riverford to get veg boxes but it worked out to be too expensive for us. I have 2 of their foldable delivery boxes and was wondering if I could drop them over to someone who has a regular delivery from them. I don?t want them to go to waste because they make such an effort to reuse them.

Thanks!

Hi Anna, can I ask what you do now? Have you started using another fruit and/or veg service?

I'm really keen to sign up to some sort of weekly delivery, as I've recently purchased an Instant Pot (life changing), and our local co-op has nothing really to offer that's particularly interesting, veg wise. My kids are getting a bit bored of broccoli, carrots and green beans!

I used to use Local Greens (not sure if they're still going) but got a bit put off by the lack of customisation, and the fact that each bag had soooo many leeks! I'm tempted by Odd Box and Wonky Veg....

    • Try the castle upstairs, you'd need to buy a few drinks in return.  @Suecan you advise?  It will be in use some Mondays no doubt
    • Yes, I was bemused to see that notice in Barry Road. It seemed a strange place to be having a drop off point.
    • We have 16 weeks of road works in the area which is already causing traffic hold ups we are going to have this gala go on to add to the traffic and there are drop off points and pick up points for it at bottom end of barry road for the green badge of doomer ubers to add to the traffic
    • Has anyone else noticed a small notice, midway on the green, metal barricade, that is flagging another event in September? It seems to be another event organiser has been granted a licence to operate in the same area of the park? Does anyone know more? If Cllr Hamvas is around, perhaps she could shed some light on this and any other plans for further commercial exploitation of our precious park, by this council.
