Two bedrooms needed for four -six weeks

I'm searching for a two bedroom property (or three bedrooms) from September 30th as i have to undertake works on my house located on Ivydale road. It needs to be suitable for two adults. I'll be renting via my insurance company who are undertaking the underpinning to my home. They've sent us to some shocking places so I'm back on here to desperately try to find something habitable.

They will be paying you directly if we agree to go ahead. I tried this site successfully earlier this year but had to pull out due to needing to undergo emergency

surgery and subsequent chemotherapy. This is now completed and I'm ready to go through with the works to my property.

My daughter is a teacher who needs access to good transport links/ parking as she has a long commute in the mornings to her school.

We have been told that we need to find somewhere for four weeks. If if goes on longer we will move into a hotel if it isnt mutually convenient. I have another child close by who I help out with school drop off and collections for my grandchild hence the desperate plea to remain locally in the area.

We would like to stay in the local area if possible. Please PM me if you can help.

Fingers crossed

    • Not sure why air quality came into discussion on this thread.  There are a few houses on the opposite side of the road closish to the South Circ (they all have longish front gardens).  The low level blocks of flats are set a fair way from the roads (LL and Dulwich Common).  A few other houses are on the opposite side of the road going towards Forest Hill.  It's not a densely populated area.  As said pollutant emissions from motor vehicle have reduced due to tougher standards, particularly since the VW cheating scandal when test procedures are far closer to the real world and can no longer be got round. The Mayor should also be congratulated for extending the ULEZ.  People tend to think about the outer boroughs but previously the boundary was within the North and South Circs so any old vehicle could use these roads. Anyway, just pointing out.  Not that material for the Grove Tavern.
    • But there are loads of flats next to it, and loads of houses opposite it? What would you call " not many people"?
    • Not 100% sure but I think charity shops do t pay corporation taxes .do t get charged vat on the goods they sell.also get between 60/70% rates reduction not sure about rents.
    • I was sure I had replied to this, but I must have dreamed it! I googled Victus and Bibo and found a reference to them on this  forum from years ago 😮
