Join us for Kids After School Art Club with experienced artist and educator Marie Lenclos. Each week we will take inspiration from different artists or art approaches to create a portfolio of artworks using a variety of techniques and mediums. The aim of the course is to encourage a drawing and painting practice the children can continue to explore at home. Each child receives a class sketchbook and a home sketchbook to use to that effect. Our topics range from observational drawing to still life, self-portrait to abstract art and more.

Dates: Mondays 16, 23, 30 September, 7, 14 October 4.15-5:45pm

Venue: Copper Beech Cafe, Red Post Hill, SE24 9JN. The cafe is next door to The Charter School North Dulwich and JAGS Sports Club. There is a car park.

Small group of 8 children. All abilities welcome.

All materials included, including a sketchbook to work in at home.

Early booking recommended. Sibling discount available. Book here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/art-club-for-children-8-12-years-old-5-week-course-on-mondays-tickets-70888301819?utm_campaign=new_event_email&utm_medium=email&utm_source=eb_email&utm_term=viewmyevent_button

    • In case it is relevant here .... Albrighton Community Fridge [just further up from DKH Sainsburys on opposite side] are taking in unwanted electricals.   https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/
    • Interesting. Same area. Someone doing a circular walk with their dog?
    • I have to join this thread..I have'nt stepped in dog poo for years and years and then twice in the last couple of months North X road and Felbrigg road. To add insult to injury both times its been with my right foot which superstition says is bad luck So thats doubly sh**ty😩
    • Good for you. What happens when you get to sodding Tesco and the crappy instore Hermes terminal is broken, and the store workers aren't trained to fix it, and there's no way for the punter to contact Hermes IT (as if it were our job to fix it)? What happens when you get to the parcel locker to drop off a package and the machine can't scan the label that it itself printed several seconds beforehand? What happens when each shop requires a different bar code, QR code, reference code and ID to send and receive a simply package? These are all things that have happened to me in the last month alone, despite your implications that people who want to use the Post Office are thickies and troglodytes. It's all a stupid inefficient pain in the ring that is unnecessarily complicated. What is wrong with this country that it can't run a decent, simple post office?
