Big D
Has anyone noticed how slow the traffic now travels along Grove Vale since the road has been upgraded? How can it be right that using Tintagel Cres and Elsie road is now quicker in the morning than using the main road. Does anyone ever do a study on what effect these changes have on roads or do we simply have to live with the consequences of some planner who gets paid to plan? kford
Not sure it's the new road layout. Possibly the position of the bus stop by ED station. When two buses pull up, it blocks the road back to the crossing, and it's dangerous (and illegal) to overtake there. It's usually clear after then, up to Denmark Hill station. Pugwash
I find it slow going towards DKHill from about the roundabout to the station. If LL appears slow from about Whately Road, I nip down Melbourne Grove as it does save a few extra minutes Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23546-grove-vale-traffic/#findComment-546229 Share on other sites
